Can You Relate?

I have just read a post by a lady named Carol Dunn.
This is what she had to say,
“I used to be very creative but unfortunately 30 years of
raising children and being married
and having all the “grown up” responsibilities
suppressed most of my creativity,
now I see little green sprigs poking out all over.”

Sho! I am so relieved that Carol is experiencing a germination of ideas,
many women never get to see the green.

But…
Creativity NEVER has to wait that long.

Know this.
The expression of your creative self
can rush out whenever you pick a big leaf from the garden
and place it in a vase (or teapot!).
Everytime you make a sandwich,
everytime you throw a cloth on your table
your creative self can emerge.
Never let 30 years of grown-up stuff go by
before you get in touch with your creative self.

Creativity can be an activity 3 hours long
or it can be expressed in the way you love your husband.
Grab your chance to be creative!
Do it daily (or else just wear interesting shoes).

This is Tania Ahlfeldt encouraging you to laugh in the face
of grown up things.
PS: Well done dear Carol for pushing through.

Can we do it daily and wear interesting shoes? And will you come shopping for them with me?
Thank you for always inspiring us to find the exceptional in the everyday.

  4. Of course we can shop for interesting shoes together! As long as there is a macchiato in it somewhere for me……
